I 5.50mm Crochet Hook (J 6.00mm Crochet Hook, K 6.50mm Crochet Hook)

Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.

HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three stitches.

Notes:

• Turning chain does NOT count as your first stitch (unless otherwise specified). So, when working flat, be sure to work your first stitch in the very frist stitch. And when working in the round, be sure to work your first stitch in the same stitch as join.
• Size I 5.50mm Crochet Hook for Small, J 6.00mm Crochet Hook for Medium, K 6.50mm Crochet Hook for size Large.

Instructions:

Chain 100. Join with a SS to the first chain made without twisting your chain. If you have trouble doing this check out this FOOL  PROOF TRICK.

Round 1: Chain 2. *V-stitch in the next stitch. Skip the next stitch. (Dc. Chain 1. Dc. Chain 1. Dc.) in the next stitch. Skip the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * around. (75 chain 1 spaces)

Round 2 – 8: SS into the next Chain 1 space. Chain 2. V-stitch in each chain 1 space around. (75 v-stitches)

Round 9: SS into the next chain 1 space. Chain 2. V-stitch in the next 21 V-stitches. Skip the next 17 v-stitches. V-stitch in the next 20 V-stitches. Skip the next 17 V-stitches. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 10 – Desired Length: SS into the next Chain 1 space. Chain 2. V-stitch in each chain 1 space around. (41 v-stitches)

Finish Off. Weave in ends.
