J 6.00mm Crochet Hook

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Magic Ring

Round 1: Chain 3. [3DC. Chain 2.] x’s. 4. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (12 Dc + 4 Chain 2 spaces)

Round 2 – 9: Chain 3. *Dc in each stitch to corner. (2Dc. Chain 2. 2Dc.) in the next chain 2 space.* Repeat from * to * around.  Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 10: Chain 3. *[Dc. Chain 1. Skip the next stitch.] x’s. 9. Dc in the next stitch. Chain 1. (Dc. Chain 2. Dc.) in the next chain 2 space. Chain 1. [Dc in the next stitch. Chain 1. Skip the next stitch.] x’s. 8.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 11: Chain 1. *Hdc in the next 21  stitches. (Hdc. Chain 1. Hdc.) in the next chain 2 space. Hdc in the next 18 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made.

Finish off. Weave in ends. Join topper to the center or corner of the security blanket.
