Materials: 

I 5.50mm Crochet Hook 

Worsted Weight Yarn

  • 200 Yards Green
  • 75 Yards White

Yarn needle

Gauge:

7 stitches = 2 inches

Stitches: 

Ch: Chain – Yarn over pull through one loop. 

SS: Slip stitch – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook. 

Sc: Single crochet – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Hdc: Half double crochet – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

Dc: Double crochet – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Special Stitches:

Sc2tog: Single Crochet 2 Together- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Insert hook into next stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through all loops on the hook.p

Toe (Accent Color) 

Magic Ring

Round 1: Ch 1. 10 Hdc. Join with a ss to the first Hdc made. (10)

Round 2: Ch 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made (20)

Round 3: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (30)

Round 4: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (40)

Round 5: Ch 1. *2 Hdc. Hdc in the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * a total of 8 x’s.. Hdc around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (48)

Round 6-10: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with SS to the first Hdc made. (48)

Body (Main Color): 

Round 11: Ch 1. *Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 3. Skip the next three stitches.* Repeat from * to * all the way around, joining with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 12: SS into the next stitch. Ch 1. Sc in same stitch. *Make 5 Dc in next Ch 3. space. skip the next Sc. Sc in the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * until the last Ch 3. space. Make 5 Dc in the next Ch 3. space. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 13: SS into the next 2 stitches. Ch 1. Sc in same stitch and the next 2 stitches. Ch 3. Skip the next 3 stitches. *Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 3. Skip the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 14-25: Repeat Rounds 12 – 13

Row 1: Ch 1. Sc in the next 16 stitches.

Row 2: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 12 stitches. Sc2tog. (14)

Row 3: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 10 stitches. Sc2tog. (12)

Row 4: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 8 stitches. Sc2tog. (10)

Row 5: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 6 stitches. Sc2tog. (8)

Row 6: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 4 stitches. Sc2tog. (6)

Skip 2 stitches. Sc in next stitch. *Make 5 Dc in next Ch 3. space. skip the next Sc. Sc in the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * until the last Ch 3. space. Make 5 Dc in the next Ch 3. space. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 27: SS into the next 2 stitches. Ch 1. Sc in the same stitch and the next 2 stitches. Ch 3. Skip the next 3 stitches. *Sc in the next 3 stitches. Ch 3. Skip the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 28: SS into the next stitch. Ch 1. Sc in same stitch. *Make 5 Dc in next Ch 3. space. skip the next Sc. Sc in the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * until the last Ch 3. space. Make 5 Dc in the next Ch 3. space. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 29 – 44: Repeat Rounds 27 – 28 ending on a round 27.

Cuff: (Accent Color) 

Round 45 – 50: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. 

Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew heel closed.
