Materials: 

I 5.50mm Crochet Hook 

Worsted Weight Yarn

  • 200 Yards Tan
  • 75 Yards Black

Yarn needle

Gauge: 

7 stitches = 2 inches

Stitches: 

Ch: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop. 

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook. 

Sc: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Hdc: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

Dc: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

FPDC: Yarn over. Insert hook around the front to back and around stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Special Stitches:

Sc2tog: Single Crochet 2 Together- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Insert hook into next stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through all loops on the hook.

Dc2tog: Double Crochet 2 Together – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over. Insert hook into next stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Draw through all loops on hook.

Notes:

This pattern is made working in rounds. Don’t forget to work in the same stitch as slip stitch to start each round.

Toe (Accent Color) 

Magic Ring

Round 1: Ch 1. 10 Hdc. Join with a ss to the first Hdc made. (10)

Round 2: Ch 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made (20)

Round 3: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (30)

Round 4: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (40)

Round 5: Ch 1. *2 Hdc. Hdc in the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * a total of 8 x’s.. Hdc around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (48)

Round 6 – 10: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with SS to the first Hdc made. (48)

Body (Main Color): 

Round 11: Ch 5. (Counts as 1 Dc and ch2) Dc in the same stitch (First V-stitch made). Skip the next 3 stitches. *(Dc. Ch 2. Dc.) in the next stitch. Skip the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (12 V-stitches.)

Round 12: SS into the next Ch 2 space. Ch 2. *(3Dc. Ch 1. 3Dc.) in the next Ch 2 space. FPDC2TOG (using the second dc of previous V-stitch and the first dc of the next V-stitch).* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (12-3Dc Ch 2 3dc, 12 FPDC2TOG)

Round 13: SS into the next 2 Dc and Ch 1 space. Ch 5. Dc in the same stitch (First V-stitch made). *(Dc. Ch 2. Dc.) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (12 V-stitches.)

Round 14 – 21: Repeat Rounds 12 – 13

Heel (Accent Color):

Row 1: Ch 1. Sc in the next 16 stitches.

Row 2: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 12 stitches. Sc2tog. (14)

Row 3: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 10 stitches. Sc2tog. (12)

Row 4: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 8 stitches. Sc2tog. (10)

Row 5: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 6 stitches. Sc2tog. (8)

Row 6: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 4 stitches. Sc2tog. (6)

Row 7: Ch 1. 2 Sc. Sc in the next 4 stitches. 2 Sc. (8)

Row 8: Ch 1. 2 Sc. Sc in the next 6 stitches. 2 Sc. (10)

Join with a SS to the 1st stitch of the heel. 

Round 22: Ch 2. *(3Dc. Ch 1. 3Dc.) in the next stitch. Skip the next stitch.  DC2TOG.  Skip the next stitch.*  Repeat * to * 2 more times. (3Dc. Ch1. 3Dc) in the last stitch of heel.  DC2TOG (using the second dc of V-Stitch under heel, and the first Dc in next V-Stitch of round 21.)  *(3Dc. Ch 1. 3Dc.)  in the next Ch 2 space. FPDC2TOG.* Repeat from * to * around. The final FPDC2TOG is worked using the second Dc of previous V-stitch and the first Dc of the V-Stitch under the heel) Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 23: SS into the next 2 Dc and Ch 1 space. Ch 5. Dc in the same stitch. (V stitch made) *(Dc. Ch 2. Dc.) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (12 V-stitches.)

Round 24: SS into the next Ch 2 space. Ch 2. *(3Dc. Ch 1. 3Dc.) in the next Ch 2 space. FPDC2TOG.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (12 3Dc Ch 1 3Dc Shells, 12 FPDC2TOG)

Round 25: SS into the next 2 Dc and Ch 1 space. Ch 5 Dc in the same stitch. *(Dc. Ch 2. Dc.) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (12 V-stitches.)

Round 26 – 33: Repeat rounds 24 – 25. 

Cuff: (Accent Color) 

Round 36 – 42: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. 

Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew heel closed.
