Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.

HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

Round 1: Chain 1. 12Hdc. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (12)

Round 2: Chain 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (24)

Round 32 – 34; Chain 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made.

Handle:

Chain 1. Hdc across until desired width of handle is acheived.

Continue working in rows until your desirred strap length is reached. Finish off leaving a long tal nd sew to other side of the bag.

Finishing:

SS around the entire top and bag and handles to give it a more sturdy effect.
