Materials: 

I 5.50mm Crochet Hook 

Worsted Weight Yarn

  • 75 Yards Color A
  • 100 Yards Color B
  • 100 Yards Color C

Yarn needle

Gauge: 

7 stitches = 2 inches

Stitches: 

Ch: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop. 

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook. 

Sc: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Hdc: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

Dc: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Special Stitches:

Sc2tog: Single Crochet 2 Together- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Insert hook into next stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through all loops on the hook.

Dc2tog: Double Crochet 2 Together-  *Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull Through 2 loops.* Repeat from * to * a total of 2 times. Yarn over pull through all loops on the hook.

Toe (Color A):

Magic Ring

Round 1: Ch 1. 10 Hdc. Join with a ss to the first Hdc made. (10) 

Round 2: Ch 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made (20) 

Round 3: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (30) 

Round 4: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (40)

Round 5: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (50) 

Round 6: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (51)

Round 7 – 10: Ch 1, Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (51)

Body (Alternate color B and C): 

Round 1: Ch 2. *(Dc2tog. Ch 1. Dc2tog) in the next stitch. Skip the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc2tog made.

Round 2 – 10: SS into the next Ch. Ch 2. *(Dc2tog. Ch 1. Dc2tog) in the next Ch space. Skip the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc2tog made.

Heel (Color A):

Row 1: Join with SS into the next stitch. Sc in the same stitch and each of the next 15 stitches. (16sc) 

Row 2: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 12 stitches. Sc2tog. (14) 

Row 3: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 10 stitches. Sc2tog. (12) 

Row 4: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 8 stitches. Sc2tog. (10) 

Row 5: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 6 stitches. Sc2tog. (8) 

Row 6: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 4 stitches. Sc2tog. (6)

Round 12 – 22: SS into the next Ch. Ch 2. *(Dc2tog. Ch 1. Dc2tog) in the next Ch space. Skip the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc2tog made.

Cuff: (Color A) 

Round 23 – 28: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. 

Finish off. Weave in ends. Sew heel closed.
