Stitches:

SS: (Slip Stitch) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

Ch: (Chain) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.

Sc: (Single Crochet) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Dc: (Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Instructions:

Make 2

Chain 8.

Row 1: Sc in the third stitch from hook and in each chain across.

Row 2 – 27: Chain 1. Sc in the BLO across.

Join row 27 to row 1 with a series of SS

Round 1: Chain 2. *(Dc2tog. Chain 1. Dc2tog) in the side of the next row. Skip the next 2 rows.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc2tog made.

Round 2 – 6: SS into the next chain 1 space. Chain 2. *(Dc2tog. Chain 1. Dc2tog.) in the next chain 1 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc2tog made.

Round 7: SS into the next chain 1 space. Chain 2. (Dc2tog. Chain 1. Dc2tog.) in the next 2 chain 1 spaces. Skip the next Dc2tog v-stitch. *(Dc2tog. Chain 1. Dc2tog.) in the next chain 1 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc2tog made.

Round 8:  SS into the next chain 1 space. Chain 2. *(Dc2tog. Chain 1. Dc2tog.) in the next chain 1 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc2tog made.
