CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Special Stitches:

Hdc3tog: Half double crochet 3 together- (Yarn over. Insert hook in stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch) x’s 3. Yarn over pull through 7 loops.

Notes:

  • Chain 3 does not count as a stitch.

Instructions:

Chain 7

Join with a SS to the first chain made to make a ring.

Row 1: Chain 3. 7Dc. Chain 2. 7Dc.

Row 2: Chain 3. 3Dc in the same stitch. *Dc. Hdc3tog around the post of previous Dc. Skip 1.* Repeat from * to * across to the chain 2 space. (3Dc. Chain 2. 3Dc.) in the chain 2 space. *Dc. Hdc3tog around the post of previous Dc. Skip 1.* Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains. 3Dc in the last stitch.

Row 3: Chain 3. 3Dc in the same stitch Dc across to chain 2 space. (3Dc. Chain 2. 3Dc.) in the chain 2 space. Dc across until 1 stitch remains. 3Dc in the next stitch.

Row 4 – 7: Repeat Rows 2 – 3.
