Materials: 

I 5.50mm Crochet Hook 

Worsted Weight Yarn

  • 250 Yards Brown
  • 75 Yards White

Yarn needle

Gauge: 

7 stitches = 2 inches 

Difficulty:

Stitches: 

Ch: Chain – Yarn over pull through one loop. 

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook. 

Sc: Single crochet – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Hdc: Half double crochet – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

Dc: Double crochet – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Instructions:

Toe (Accent Color) 

Magic Ring

Round 1: Ch 1. 10 Hdc. Join with a ss to the first Hdc made. (10)

Round 2: Ch 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made (20)

Round 3: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (30)

Round 4: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (40)

Round 5: Ch 1. *2 Hdc. Hdc in the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * a total of 8 x’s.. Hdc around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (48)

Round 6 – 10: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with SS to the first Hdc made. (48)

Body (Main Color): 

Round 11: Ch 1. *Sc. Ch 3. Skip the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (16 Ch 3 spaces)

Round 12: SS into the next Ch. Ch 1. *Sc in the next Ch 3 space. Ch 3. Sc in the next Ch 3 space. 3Dc in the next Sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 13: SS into the next Ch. Ch 1. *Sc in the next Ch 3 space. Ch 3. Skip the next Sc and Dc. Sc in the next Dc. Ch 3.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 14 –27:  Repeat rounds 12 -13. Ending on round 13. 

Heel (Accent Color): 

Row 1: Ch 1. Sc in the next 16 stitches.

Row 2: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 12 stitches. Sc2tog. (14)

Row 3: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 10 stitches. Sc2tog. (12)

Row 4: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 8 stitches. Sc2tog. (10)

Row 5: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 6 stitches. Sc2tog. (8)

Row 6: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 4 stitches. Sc2tog. (6)

Row 7: Ch 1. 2 Sc. Sc in the next 4 stitches. 2 Sc. (8)

Ch 1. *Sc in same stitch. Ch 3. Sk the next stitch, Sc in next stitch, Sk next stitch. 3Dc in next stitch, Sk next stitch.* Repeat from * to * 1 more time. Sc in next stitch. Ch 3. Sk last stitch of heel. Sc in the next Ch 3 space of round 27. *3dc in next sc. Sc in the next Ch space. Ch 3. Sc in next Ch 3 space.*

Repeat from * to * 4 more times. 3Dc in the first stitch of heel. Sk next stitch. Join with a SS to the first Sc made. (8- 3Dc and 8 Ch3 spaces) 

Round 29: SS into the next Ch. Ch 1. *Sc in the next Ch 3 space. Ch 3. Skip the next Sc and Dc. Sc in the next Dc. Ch 3.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 30: SS into the next Ch. Ch 1. *Sc in the next Ch 3 space. Ch 3. Sc in the next Ch 3 space. 3Dc in the next Sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 31 – 49: Repeat rounds 29 and 30 ending on round 29. 

Cuff: (Accent Color) 

Round 50 – 55: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. 

Finish off. Weave ends. Sew heel closed.
