K 6.50mm Crochet Hook

Stitches:

Chain (Ch) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.

Slip Stitch (SS) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

Single Crochet (Sc) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Half Double Crochet (Hdc) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over.  Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 3 loops.

Double Crochet (Dc) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Special Stitches:

Back Loop Only (BLO) – Work in the third loop of the HDC.

Notes:

  • Turning chain does NOT count as your first stitch (unless otherwise specified). So, when working flat, be sure to work your first stitch in the very first stitch. And when working in the round, be sure to work your first stitch in the same stitch as join.

Instructions:

Chain 34

Round 1: 3Dc in the 3rd chain from hook. Dc across until 1 chain remains. 6Dc in the next chain. Working along the backside of the chain Dc across until 1 chain remains. 3Dc in the final chain. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (72 Dc)

Round 2: Chain 2. 2Dc in the next 3 stitches. Dc in the next 30 stitches. 2Dc in the next 6 stitches. Dc in the next 30 stitches. 2Dc in the last 3 stitches. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (84 Dc)

Round 3: Chain 2. Repeat (2Dc. Dc.) 3x’s. Dc in the next 30 stitches. Repeat (2Dc. Dc.) 6x’s. Dc in the next 30 stitches. Repeat (2Dc. Dc.) 3x’s. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (96 Dc)

Round 4: Chain 1. Hdc in the BLO around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (96 Hdc)

Round 5 – 9: Chain 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (96 Hdc)

Round 10 – 18: Chain 2. *Skip the next stitch. Dc in the next 3 stitches. Dc in the skipped stitch working over the previous 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Rounds 19 – 24: Chain 1. Sc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made. (96)

Round 25: Chain 1. Sc in the next 17 stitches. Chain 50. Skip the next 19 stitches. Sc in the next 29 stitches. Chain 50. Skip the next 19 stitches. Sc in the next 12 stitches. Join with a SS to the first Sc Made.

Rounds 26 – 27: Chain 1. Sc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 28: SS into the next 17 stitches. Sc in the next 50 stitches. SS into the next 29 stitches. Sc in the next 50 stitches. SS into the next 12 stitches.

Finish off. Weave in ends.
