Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Puff – *Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. draw up loop* repeat from * to * a total of 3 times. Yarn over. Pull through all loops on hook.

Instructions:

Chain 88. Join with a SS to form a loop. If you have trouble doing this, check out my fool proof for Joining Chains in the Round.

Round 1: Chain 1. Hdc in each chain around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (88)

Round 2:  Chain 1. [Sc. Chain 3. Skip the next stitch.] Repeat from [ to ] a total of 3 times. Sc. Chain 3. Skip the next 2 stitches. *[Sc. Chain 3. Skip the next stitch.] Repeat from [ to ] a total of 4 times. Sc. Chain 3. Skip the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Until 2 stitches remain. Sc. Chain 3. Skip the next stitch. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 3:  SS into the chain 3 space. Chain 1. *Sc in the next chain 3 space (first Sc of the round will be worked in same place as ss). Chain 3. Sc in the next chain 3 space. Skip the next chain 3 space. 7Dc in the next chain 3 space. Skip the next chain 3 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 4:  SS into the chain 3 space. Chain 1. *Sc in the next chain 3 space. (first Sc will be worked in the same space). [Dc. Chain 1.] in the next 6 Dc. Dc in the next Dc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 5: SS across into the 2nd chain 1 space. Chain 1. *[Sc in the next chain 1 space. (first Sc will be worked in the same space). Chain 3.] Repeat from [ to ] a total of 4 times. Skip the next Dc and Chain 1 space. Dc3tog over the next 3 stitches. Chain 3. Skip the next chain 1 space and Dc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 6: SS into the next Chain 3 space. Chain 1. *Sc in the next chain 3 space (first Sc will be worked in the same space). Chain 3.* Repeat from * to * around Join with a SS to the first Sc made.

Round 7 – 18: Repeat rounds 3 – 6 ending in round 6.

Round 19: Chain 1. *(Hdc in the next Sc. Hdc in the next chain 3 space.) x’s 3. Hdc in the next Sc. 2Hdc in the next chain 3 space. Hdc in the next Sc. Hdc in the next chain 3 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (88)
