Materials: 

I 5.50mm Crochet Hook 

Worsted Weight Yarn

  • 125 yards white
  • 125 yards black
  • 75 Yards Red

Yarn needle

Gauge:

7 stitches = 2 inches 

Difficulty: 

Intermediate 

Stitches: 

Ch: Chain – Yarn over pull through one loop. 

SS: Slip stitch – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook. 

Sc: Single crochet – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Hdc: Half double crochet – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

Dc: Double crochet – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops. 

Special Stitches: 

Sc2tog: Single Crochet 2 Together – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Insert hook into next stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through all loops on the hook.

Round 1: Ch 1. 10 Hdc. Join with a ss to the first Hdc made. (10) 

Round 2: Ch 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made (20) 

Round 3: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (30) 

Round 4: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (40)

Round 5: Ch 1. *2Hdc. Hdc in the next 3 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (50) 

Round 6: Ch 1. 2Hdc. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (51)

Round 7 – 10: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (51)

Body (Main Color):

Round 11: Ch 2. *Dc. Sc* repeat from * to * around (Ending repeat with a DC.) Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (21)

Round 12: Ch 2. *Sc. Dc* repeat from * to * around (Ending repeat with a Sc.) Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (21)

Round 13 – 28: Repeat Round 11 -12 

Heel (Accent Color):

Row 1: Ch 1. Sc in the next 16 stitches.

Row 2: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 12 stitches. Sc2tog. (14) 

Row 3: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 10 stitches. Sc2tog. (12) 

Row 4: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 8 stitches. Sc2tog. (10) 

Row 5: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 6 stitches. Sc2tog. (8) 

Row 6: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Sc in the next 4 stitches. Sc2tog. (6)

Round 30: Ch 2. *Sc. Dc* repeat from * to * around (Ending repeat with a Sc.) Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (21)

Round 31 – 52: Repeat Round 29 – 30. Ending on a round 

Cuff (Accent Color):

Round 53: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made.

Round 54 – 58: Ch 1. Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (50)

Finish off. Sew Heel.
