This tutorial will show you how to block your crochet project! It’s so much easier than you may think! There are also several way that you can do so if you need to block it quickly.

Materials:
Blocking Board
Measuring Tape
Blocking Pins
Spray bottle
Crochet Project
Optional Materials:
Iron
Blowdryer
Washcloth
Instructions:

Method 1: Wet Blocking
Step 1: Lay out your blocking board, pins and measuring tape.
Step 2: Place your crochet project on your blocking board and get a base measurement or your crochet piece.
Step 3: Using that base measurement, pin down the corners at the appropriate length.
Step 4: Place pins along each sides at the appropriate length.
Step 5: Spray with a spray bottle and leave for 2 hours.
Step 6. Pull out pins.
Method 2: Fast Dry
Step 1: Lay out your blocking board, pins and measuring tape.
Step 2: Place your crochet project on your blocking board and get a base measurement or your crochet piece.
Step 3: Using that base measurement, pin down the corners at the appropriate length.
Step 4: Place pins along each sides at the appropriate length.
Step 5: Spray with a spray bottle.
Step 6: Blowdry your project on low heat until completely dry.
Step 7: Pull out pins.
Method 3: Quick Block
Step 1: Lay out your blocking board, pins and measuring tape.
Step 2: Place your crochet project on your blocking board and get a base measurement or your crochet piece.
Step 3: Using that base measurement, pin down the corners at the appropriate length.
Step 4: Place pins along each sides at the appropriate length.
Step 5: Place damp washcloth over your crochet project.
Step 6: Iron on low heat til desired shaping is acheived.
Step 7: Pull out pins.
