Stitches:

SS: (Slip Stitch) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

Ch: (Chain) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.

Sc: (Single Crochet) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Hdc: (Half Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over.  Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 3 loops.

Dc: (Double Crochet) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Round 1: 10 Hdc in the magic ring. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (10 Hdc)

Round 2: Chain 2. *Dc. Chain 2.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (10 Dc + 10 Chain 2 spaces)

Round 3: Chain 1. *2Hdc in the next Dc. 2Hdc in the next chain 2 space.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (40 Hdc)

Round 4: Chain 2. *(Dc. Chain 1. Dc.) in the next stitch. Skip the next stitch.* Repeat from * to* around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (20 v-stitches)
