SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three loops.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.

FPDC: Yarn over. Insert hook around the front to back and around stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Round 1: Chain 1. 10 Hdc into the loop. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (10)

Round 2: Chain 1. 2Hdc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (20)

Round 3: Chain 1. *2Hdc in the next stitch. Hdc in the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Hdc made. (30)

Round 4: Chain 2. Dc in the BLO around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (30)

Round 5: Chain 2. *FPDC. Dc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made. (30)
