Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.

HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three stitches.

FPDC: Yarn over. Insert hook around the front to back and around stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

BPDC: Yarn over. Insert hook around the stitch fron back to front into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Tr: Treble- Yarn over 2 times. Insert hook around the stitch front back to front into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Special Stitches:

Drop Dc (Drop Double Crochet): Yarn over. Insert hook into skipped stitch from previous round. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.

Double Treble – DblTr: Yarn over. hook 3 times. Insert hook in stitch. Yarn over. Draw up Loop. (Yarn over. Draw through 2 loops) 4 times.

Triple Treble – TrTr:  Yarn over. hook 4 times. Insert hook in stitch. Yarn over. Draw up Loop. (Yarn over. Draw through 2 loops)5 times.

Puff:  [Yarn over. Draw up loop] a total of 3x’s… Yarn over draw through all 7 loops on the hook.

Cluster: Cluster- *Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over through two stitches.* Repeat from * to * until there are 6 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through all six loops.

Notes:

• Turning chain does NOT count as your first stitch (unless otherwise specified). So, when working flat, be sure to work your first stitch in the very first stitch. And when working in the round, be sure to work your first stitch in the same stitch as join.
