Stitches:
CH: Chain- Yarn over pull through one loop.
SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over and pull through both the stitch and loop on the hook.
DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops. Yarn over pull through two loops.
SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through two loops.
HDC: Half double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over pull through stitch. Yarn over pull through three stitches.
Notes:
- Turning chain does NOT count as your first stitch (unless otherwise specified). So, when working flat, be sure to work your first stitch in the very frist stitch. And when working in the round, be sure to work your first stitch in the same stitch as join.
- Size H hook for size 24 months and I hook for sizes 2t and 3t.
