H 5.00mm Crochet Hook

Stitches:

CH: Chain- Yarn over. Pull through loop.

SS: Slip stitch- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.

SC: Single crochet- Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

DC: Double crochet- Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Special Stitches:

3 Puff – (Yarn over. Draw up loop.) x’s 3. Yarn over. Draw through all 7 loops.

Instructions:

Round 1: Chain 1. Sc around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made. (90)

Round 2: Chain 2. *[Dc. Chain 1. Dc.] Skip the next 2 stitches. [Puff. Chain 1. Puff.] Skip the next 2 stitches.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 3: SS into the chain 1 space. Chain 2. Dc in the same chain 1 space. *Chain 2. Puff in the next chain 1 space. Chain 2. Dc in the next chain 1 space.* Repeat from * to * until 5 stitches remain. Chain 2. Puff in the next chain 1 space. Chain 2. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 4: Chain 1. *[Puff. Chain 1. Puff.] (this will be in the Dc.) [Dc. Chain 1. Dc.] in the next puff stitch.* Repeat * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Puff stitch made.

Round 5: SS into the chain 1 space. Chain 1. *Puff in the chain 1 space. Chain 2. Dc in the next chain 1 space. Chain 2.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first puff made.

Round 6: Chain 2. *[Dc. Chain 1. Dc.] in the next puff stitch. [Puff. Chain 1. Puff.] in the next Dc.*  Repeat from * to * around. Join with a SS to the first Dc made.

Round 7 – 10: Repeat Rounds 3 – 6.

Round 11 – 13: Repeat Rounds 3 – 5.

Round 14: Chain 1. Sc in each stitch around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made. (90)
